That's over half the standard value of the car in options alone. I didn't realize I was configuring a Porsche.

TRD performance parts add expense very quickly.

Also, here a $20,000 IQ.

Kinja'd!!!

I've also once configured a tC to over $30,000.

Yeah, their configurator is actually pretty top-notch.

If they ever made a legitimate xB TRD, I'd be the first one in line. But a base model that upgrade the chassis and capabilities when the stock powertrain can't even push the stock setup is just stupid.

Oh my god, I never noticed it had little vents on the hood!

This is why aftermarket parts exist. You could probably get all of those options of equal quality for half the price.

It was built by CIE studios, they did HRE Wheels websites and many other configurators.

They also made racing rivals. and a few other games.

Things to never do to a Scion includes anything to do with options. Much overpriced, such little car for the money.

It's adorable, but also a joke at the same time.

And people say the $13,000 smart fortwo is too expensive for its size.

This thing will set you back $16,000 in base form and Scion's crappy pricing structure means you'll have a helluva time haggling the price down (as in, it'll never happen).

That's nothing! You could build a $45k NON-JCW Mini.

Between my wife and myself we have put 140,000 miles on an 05 TC and it still runs like a champ. Granted it is a rolly polly, underpowered slush box, of a car but its been pretty easy maintenance wise and I drive it pretty hard every day. They are decent cars if what you want are the wheels, glass roof, etc. that my wife wanted when she bought it.

Yeah, they aren't bad cars by any means. But with options, they seem to be a bit more than what they are worth.

The iQ has far more standard equipment than the fortwo. The $12,500 fortwo base model has roll up windows. Not to mention it has a competent transmission, is about 2 feet longer and has a backseat, even if it isn't usable. (Never owned a Toyota/Scion, just sayin')

The iQ has far more standard equipment than the fortwo pure. Yes, that's true.

However, the fortwo passion coupe ($14,900) has every standard feature the iQ has (and more), except for bluetooth.

Also, what's the point of having a rear seat if it isn't usable or safe? That's like putting a towing hitch on a Tata Nano, even though it probably couldn't even tow a garden cart.

The iQ is a cool car. Toyota had an excellent idea (build a car that capitalized on having none of the smart's issues), but the execution could've been better.
